Featured {Tribeza Love Issue}

Another feature, ftw! We were so honored and excited to be featured in the awesome local publication Tribeza. Their February issue is all about LOVE so it is fitting not one, but two, of our couples also graced the pages. Check out the full issue here!

Featured {Statesman Real Magazine}

We offered up some props for the Austin American Statesman Real Magazine cover story about the latest Austin wedding trends. They included paper gems, stars, noisemaker garland, and, our favorite, "clusters of excitement"! Thanks so much to Cristina Facundo for bringing us on the team! Click here to check out the feature online.

We were in print, yo:

We had a super team of Real Magazine staff, photographer Andrew Chan, wardrobe stylist Cristina Facundo, chalkboard artist Kathy Phan, florist Margot Blair, The Seedling Truck, and models Meredith and Shane.

Bird Dog Wedding {Joanna + Paul}

Joanna and Paul are two lovely folks living deep in the heart of Austin. Joanna came to me only looking for design work and I was happy to oblige her request. The fact that we both owned and spoiled liver-and-white Brittanies did not hurt the situation. I really heart their little family and wish them all the best in their future together!

For J+P, we created a southern-with-a-twist wedding and Mercury Hall was the perfect backdrop. We took vintage elements that Joanna liked - bunting, furniture pieces, calico fabrics - and tried to present them in fresh ways. Three types of bunting were made from a mix of vintage sheets and fabric - including the horizontal bunting used in the reception space, which makes our heart hurt in a good way. And I'm not sure if there's ever been a happier ceremony aisle (see the cute bridesmaids below for proof). The bunting place cards with streamers also make us smile.

J+P had their fair share of personal details that really made this wedding special. Joanna hunted for fabric, bottles, cookie plates, and you name it in her hometown. She also wore her mother's engagement and wedding rings around her neck and had a bouquet of her mother's favorite yellow roses placed in her chair. Family and friends baked their favorite cookies for the dessert table. Paul's mother made them a bunting and contributed lots of fun vintage items she'd collected over the years. Joanna and I even collected twigs together outside her home for the head table. I love when family and friends come together to contribute to the big day.

Last but not least, huge thanks to all the amazing vendors involved: Lahra Bryant Photography for capturing these incredible images; Leah at Zinnia & Company for the gorgeous, gorgeous personal flowers; the lovely gals at Loot Vintage RentalsIllusions Rentals and Rosemary's Catering for being awesome and so nice to work with; and my super amazing team - you know who you are - I love you guys! See end of post for a full vendor list.
